A: Our drivers our paid a percentage of what the truck grosses. This does not include any fuel surcharge if one applies to the load. Our drivers are paid 25% of the truck gross. The truck gross is calculated based on the freight rate, dead head miles and demurrage when it applies.
A: We haul proppant fracturing sand (Frac Sand) to our customers in the oil fields.
A: Yes, when you arrive at a loading location you are required to climb on top of the trailer and open your dome lids. When you arrive at location you will be required to connect hoses from the rear of your trailer to the mover that you are blowing the sand into. The hoses are 10-20 feet long. A: Time off in our customer’s industry varies greatly. You will have time off but there is no set schedule for days off. There will be times that you are out for a number of days or even weeks without home time. Other times you may be home a few days a week. Time off depends on where the job is at the time and the size of the job. If you have a specific date that you need off we can usually accommodate those needs. We request our drivers to notify us in advance so we can meet those needs.
A: We provide all of the necessary safety equipment and training. Safety is our greatest concern. We go above and beyond to make sure our drivers are trained and equipped with all the safety equipment necessary to perform the job safely.
A: No. We require all of our equipment to be parked at our yard in San Antonio, TX. This allows us to perform inspections of the equipment and make any necessary repairs before the equipment goes back out.
